Halogen Heating System
The device operates using a unique 100W halogen bulb combined with spherical thermal mass media positioned directly above the heat source. The original model incorporates glass beads, while the Enhanced version uses ruby balls to retain and distribute heat. This architecture delivers a blend of convection and radiation heating, ensuring thorough and even thermal extraction of dry materials without direct contact.
Precise Temperature Control
Users can select from five built-in temperature presets ranging from 180°C to 220°C (356°F to 428°F). The vaporizer incorporates haptic feedback to signal when the target temperature is reached. Additionally, a built-in Boost Mode allows operators to temporarily raise the active setting by 10°C (18°F) by holding the power button. A standard session runs on an automated 5-minute timer.
Dual Replaceable Battery Power
The system requires two replaceable 18650 lithium-ion batteries to supply sufficient power to the halogen bulb. While these batteries must be sourced separately, the device includes a built-in USB-C charging port. This connection permits users to recharge the batteries directly within the unit, offering operational flexibility and extending the overall lifespan of the device by allowing battery replacements as needed.
Adjustable Physical Design Variations
The product line offers distinct physical builds, starting with the original model’s walnut wood and aluminum exterior. The Angus Enhanced shifts to a lighter polycarbonate body, dropping the overall weight to roughly 254 grams. Furthermore, the Enhanced version introduces a physical adjustable airflow vent at the base, giving users the mechanical ability to modify draw resistance according to their personal preference.
