The Puffco Proxy Desert (OG) is the Desert limited-edition sandy tan colorway of the Puffco Proxy (OG). Functionally identical to the standard model, this limited edition pairs the same heating system and controls with a distinctive Desert finish collectors and color-match seekers look for.

The Puffco Proxy (OG) is a portable concentrate vaporizer designed for extract consumption, featuring a highly adaptable modular design. Its core architecture revolves around a removable electronic base that seats directly into an included hand-blown glass pipe with a classic Sherlock style profile. This unique ecosystem allows users to detach the central heating unit and transfer it into a wide variety of compatible third-party glass attachments. Geared toward concentrate enthusiasts who value both form and function, the device combines traditional aesthetics with modern vaporization technology. The user-friendly interface offers straightforward operation, making it accessible for beginners while providing the customization expected by experienced users.

3D Ceramic Heating Chamber

The base unit utilizes an advanced 3D ceramic heater that embeds heating wire traces directly into the side walls. Instead of emitting heat solely from the bottom, this radial heating approach vaporizes extracts on the side walls as you inhale. This method aims to preserve flavor profiles and prevent the material from overheating. The system operates on a cold start method, where material is loaded before initiating the heating cycle.

Preset Temperature Controls

Users navigate the device through a one-button operation system featuring four temperature presets. These settings are indicated by LED colors: Blue (low, approx. 505°F), Green (medium, approx. 520°F), Red (high, approx. 545°F), and White (peak, approx. 565°F). The vaporizer reaches its target temperature in 15 to 25 seconds and utilizes haptic feedback to signal when the session is ready to begin.

Battery and Charging Capacity

The device is powered by an internal battery designed to provide an average of 12 to 15 sessions per full charge. Recharging is facilitated through a standard USB-C charging port, taking approximately 90 to 120 minutes to fully replenish a depleted battery. The remaining power level is communicated via the LED indicator, which displays a green, orange, or red light when the button is triple-clicked.

Smart App Connectivity

Newer iterations of the Proxy line feature integrated Bluetooth technology that pairs with a dedicated mobile application. This app control enables users to bypass the standard presets and customize specific heating temperatures for their extracts. Additionally, the application allows for the personalization of the LED lighting displays, giving users more precise control over both the performance and the visual aesthetics of their sessions.
