Here is the Focus V Carta 2, the new desktop vaporizer from Focus V. It’s worth mentioning that it is a different device than the Focus V Carta V2, the upgraded version of the Focus V Carta OG.

The Carta 2 is a new device with a unique design and improved functionalities. The heating chamber has increased size and can be used with concentrates or herbs.

Ergonomic build and materials

The Focus V Carta 2 comprises an ergonomic plastic polymer body and a borosilicate glass element. The plastic polymer ensures that the body doesn’t get hot, plus the design fits nicely in the hands. The borosilicate glass element is similar to the OG version and is compatible. So it’s possible to switch eventually.

The vaporizer also includes an atomizer made of glazed ceramic. The glazed ceramic makes it easy to clean.

Function and use

This desktop vaporizer works with concentrates and herbs. For this purpose, it hosts an Intelli-Core™ 360° heating atomizer. This one is 14mm wide, so 4mm wider than its predecessor. The increased size allows for bigger sessions or social sharing. The atomizer uses conduction heating to heat the material directly with the glazed ceramic inside.

The temperature range for heating concentrates is 365°F (185°C)–635°F (335°C), while to heat herbs it’s 275°F (135°C), 500°F (260°C). You can fully control the temperature. Then the water filtration and percolation purify the vapor.

Powerful unit

An internal battery powers this desktop vaporizer. It is 2000mAh and can last 20 to 25 sessions. After that, it’s possible to charge it via USB-C. But it’s also possible to use it while charging, thanks to the passthrough charging function. Plus, it allows wireless charging for a modern touch.

User-adjustable sessions

One of the valuable features of the 2 is its OLED display. It indicates what you need to know about your vape and session: battery life, temperature, session timer, herb or concentrate mode, and Bluetooth sync.

Plus, the mobile app contributes to increasing your power of customization. Indeed, the Focus Web App offers various configurations: presets, session time and temperature, social and community tracker, and warranty assistance with Focus. And if you wish for an entertaining light show, the RGB lighting brings color to your session.
