Halogen Bulb & Bead Heating

The core of the Angus is its heating technology, which pairs a halogen bulb with ruby or glass beads. The bulb generates heat through light, warming the air (convection) and the beads (radiation). These beads retain and distribute heat evenly throughout the 0.25g chamber, a method designed to preserve the terpene profile of the material. This combination of convection and radiation works to provide consistent and thorough vaporization with each session.

Dual 18650 Battery Power

The vaporizer operates using two 18650 batteries, which are not included with the purchase. This design allows users to swap out depleted batteries for a fully charged pair, eliminating downtime and extending use while away from a power source. While the device supports onboard USB-C charging for convenience, the ability to replace batteries provides an alternative for continuous operation and can contribute to the long-term usability of the device.

Five Temperatures Plus Boost Mode

The Angus offers five preset temperature settings, ranging from 180°C (356°F) to 220°C (428°F), selectable via a single button. The device provides haptic feedback, vibrating once the chosen temperature is reached in approximately 90 seconds. For an extra surge of heat, a boost mode can be activated by holding the button, which temporarily increases the temperature by 10°C (18°F) to help fully extract compounds at the end of a session.

Customizable Airflow Control

Integrated into the vaporizer’s body is an adjustable airflow dial that allows for control over the draw resistance. Users can rotate the dial to find their preferred setting, from a tight, restricted draw that may concentrate flavor to a more open, airy draw for cooler vapor. This feature enables a personalized inhalation experience that can be modified on the fly to suit different materials and user preferences for vapor density and temperature.
