The EHLE e.motion Belly Ice Bong is a German-engineered water pipe representing the sixth design in the manufacturer’s special-edition e.motion series. Crafted with a highly recognizable rounded belly architecture, this glass piece is designed to increase internal water volume, which directly influences filtration and diffusion. Constructed under the supervision of Thomas Ehle, it serves as a robust option for enthusiasts seeking a heavy-duty borosilicate framework. The versatile design accommodates traditional dry herbs while remaining easily adaptable for concentrates. With its ergonomic shape and precision construction, this special-edition piece caters to collectors who prioritize structural integrity and specialized aesthetic forms in their glassware collections.
Rounded Belly Chamber Design
The distinctive curvy base of this water pipe significantly increases its internal water capacity compared to standard straight tubes. This higher water volume allows for greater filtration and diffusion as the vapor travels through the chamber. The ergonomic shape provides a comfortable grip, while the flared wide mouthpiece ensures a steady, comfortable draw.
Integrated Ice Catching Notches
Located in the neck of the glass tube, the built-in ice notches serve as a functional platform for holding ice cubes. As vapor travels upward from the base, it passes through this frozen layer, resulting in a noticeably cooler draw. This physical cooling mechanism relies entirely on the 45 cm height of the pipe to maximize the chilling effect without added percolation.
Heavy-Duty Glass Construction
Manufactured in Germany using premium Borosilicate Glass 3.3, this water pipe is engineered for long-lasting structural integrity. The 5mm wall thickness provides substantial weight and resistance against accidental impacts during daily handling. This industrial-grade material choice ensures that the piece withstands frequent temperature fluctuations without compromising the clarity or strength of the glass.
Dual Material Compatibility
Out of the box, the pipe is configured for dry herbs via its detachable bowl and standard 18.8mm female joint. However, the standardized joint size allows for quick modification by swapping the included bowl for compatible concentrate accessories. This modular approach makes it a versatile 2-in-1 piece suitable for individuals wishing to alternate between materials without requiring multiple glass pieces.
