The Hemper Chinese Takeout XL is a uniquely designed, oversized water filtration piece that blends a playful, food-themed aesthetic with functional glass performance. Crafted to closely replicate an iconic folded takeout container, it serves enthusiasts who appreciate novelty designs alongside technical efficiency. The piece features frosted white glass decorated with classic red pagoda graphics and standard “Enjoy / Thank You” takeout decals, creating a distinct visual centerpiece. Providing a stable, boxy footprint, the flat base allows it to sit securely on flat surfaces while fitting comfortably into most standard glass storage cases. Designed for dry herb use, this XL version presents larger physical dimensions and altered internal filtration structures compared to standard compact models.
Premium Borosilicate Construction
Built for regular handling, this piece is manufactured using 5mm premium borosilicate glass. The material provides thermal resistance and structural durability, aiding in a long functional lifespan. Standing at exactly 9 inches tall with a 4.5-inch base diameter, the thicker glass walls and stemless design eliminate fragile exterior failure points, resulting in a cleaner visual profile and consistent daily performance.
Large Showerhead Percolator
Internal filtration is managed by a centrally mounted large showerhead percolator. This specialized percolation system is designed to provide consistent water filtration inside the expansive main chamber. By actively breaking down vapor into numerous smaller bubbles, the showerhead mechanism significantly increases the surface area for water interaction, yielding diffused and cooled draws during regular usage.
Integrated Chopstick Mouthpiece
Atop the main chamber sit two distinctive amber-colored glass chopsticks that complete the visual theme. While one chopstick functions purely as an aesthetic structural prop, the second is engineered as an angled, elongated mouthpiece. This dual-chopstick layout authenticates the takeout box design while providing a specific ergonomic angle for usage without needing to tilt the flat base.
