The Debowler Original Ashtray with Cleaning Spike provides a structured solution for clearing out packed ash from hand pipes and bowls. Manufactured in Reno, Nevada, this durable, American-made smoking accessory eliminates the need for improvised tools like paperclips or toothpicks. Designed with a wide catch-tray and a built-in poker, it ensures that all debris falls neatly into the base, keeping your tabletop session space clean and organized. Constructed from high-grade polycarbonate, the ashtray is designed for long-lasting durability while remaining exceptionally lightweight. This tool caters to users seeking a straightforward, ergonomic, and low-maintenance way to manage resin and ash.
Integrated Center Cleaning Spike
The centerpiece of this design is a stationary, molded poker rising directly from the ashtray’s base. It allows users to turn their pipe upside down and gently tap or twist to dislodge residue. The spike is crafted to clear out bowls seamlessly without the risk of scratching glass pipes. As part of a single solid mold, the poker remains completely stable.
Premium Polycarbonate Construction
Constructed from high-grade polycarbonate plastic, this accessory is designed to resist everyday wear and tear. The material is entirely BPA-free and utilizes recycled plastics, providing an environmentally conscious choice. Weighing between 1.44 and 1.65 ounces, the ashtray maintains an extremely lightweight profile while offering the structural integrity needed to withstand daily tapping and scraping.
Designed for Cold Ash
To ensure longevity, the original plastic spike is specifically engineered for cold ashes only. Users must allow their bowl to cool down before clearing it, as pressing live embers or hot cherries against the poker can melt the plastic structure. Following this guideline ensures the tool maintains its shape, preventing any unwanted damage to the center-mounted cleaning spike.
Effortless Maintenance and Care
Keeping the tray clear of resin and ash requires minimal effort due to the practical material properties. The entire unit is completely dishwasher safe, allowing for a deep clean alongside regular dishes. For quicker touch-ups, users can easily wipe the 4-inch wide base with a damp cloth or wash it with warm soapy water to maintain its appearance.
