The Santa Cruz Shredder Split Series Medium Grinder is a premium four-piece preparation tool designed for users who require efficiency and durability. Machined in California from medical-grade anodized aluminum, this 54 mm device distinguishes itself through a unique two-tone matte finish that resists fingerprints and daily wear. It is engineered to process dry botanicals into a fluffy consistency rather than completely pulverizing the material. With its ultrasonically cleansed construction and ergonomic design, this device caters to individuals seeking a reliable, friction-free preparation experience. The precision knurling makes it remarkably easy to turn, ensuring accessibility for those with limited hand mobility.
Patented Tooth Design
This device incorporates a proprietary razor-sharp diamond-cut tooth design engineered to cut materials in multiple directions. Instead of relying on traditional sharp metal edges that dull over time, this mechanism gently fluffs the dry herbs to an optimal medium consistency. This approach prevents the botanical material from being pulverized, ensuring an even and efficient preparation every time.
SPLIT-TONE Matte Finish
The exterior showcases a distinctive low-gloss matte finish that provides a smooth, tactile feel while remaining highly resistant to fingerprints, scratches, and everyday wear. Characterized by a bold two-tone color aesthetic, this finish pairs a vibrant main color with sleek black hardware, offering a modern visual upgrade over standard monochromatic designs.
Ergonomic Precision Grip
Wrapped around the cylinder is custom precision side engraving paired with a secure knurled grip design. This heavily textured surface ensures the device remains incredibly easy to hold and turn. It is particularly beneficial for users experiencing wrist or hand discomfort, allowing for smooth operation without requiring excessive grip strength.
Advanced Screening System
The third chamber of the assembly utilizes a specialized T304 stainless steel mesh screen. This micron-sized filter is specifically designed for the optimal and clean separation of fine botanical pollen. The meticulously engineered mesh ensures only the finest particles sift through into the bottom collection chamber, maximizing the utility of your materials.
Secure Magnetic Closure
The lid is firmly secured by a powerful rare-earth magnet, which effectively prevents accidental spills during transport or aggressive rotation. Coupled with an advanced friction ring, this closure system guarantees consistently smooth, metal-on-metal-free rotations. This preserves the structural integrity of the aluminum while delivering a seamless user experience.
