The actiTube Tune In Briar Wood Pipe is a precisely engineered, handcrafted piece originating from Germany, designed for those who appreciate pure herbal blends. Constructed from premium Bruyère wood, known as the gold standard for traditional pipes since the 19th century, this device offers extreme heat resistance and exceptional durability. The wood remains unvarnished and unstained, naturally treated with vegetable oil to preserve its breathability and grain. By utilizing a smart two-piece design, the pipe ensures quick access for maintenance while delivering a neutral taste profile. It specifically accommodates 8mm activated carbon filtration systems, cooling the draw and significantly reducing harsh condensates.
Premium Bruyère Wood Construction
The main body is crafted from high-quality Bruyère, also known as heather root, which provides superior moisture absorption and longevity. This specific wood type prevents the bowl from overheating during use. Because the surface is only treated with natural vegetable oils, the pipe remains completely unvarnished, allowing the wood to breathe and maintaining a completely unaltered flavor profile throughout the session.
Advanced Carbon Filtration System
Hidden within the internal chamber is a dedicated space designed exclusively for 8mm activated charcoal filters. This plant-based carbon filtration mechanism actively works to cool down the smoke before it reaches the mouthpiece. By filtering out heavy tars and condensates, it prevents a bitter aftertaste while allowing the desired active compounds to pass through freely, resulting in a consistently smooth and clean draw.
Minimalist Two-Piece Design
Measuring approximately 11.5 to 12 cm in length, the pipe features a Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic that prioritizes functional simplicity. The body effortlessly pulls apart into two pieces, granting immediate access to the internal chamber for fast filter replacements. Coupled with a hygienic black acrylic mouthpiece, this modular design significantly reduces routine maintenance time since the internal filter catches the majority of sticky condensates.
