Sorting Deals Explained
Vapospy recommends buying from retailers with a great reputation, good shopping experience, and helpful support.
Updated on April 11, 2023
On February 27th, we introduced sorting deals by “Recommended“.
Recommended: How does it work?
Retailers can be rated on the following metrics (but not exclusively):
- Website’s User Experience.
- Quality of information (Shipping/Return policy/others)
- Successful referrals.
- Reputation.
- Location.
- And more.
Adding up all metrics x weights results in a score.
Deals are sorted by the retailers’ scores.
Metrics, weights, and scores can change with time.
Sort by Price
Sorting by price stays available and works as before.
“Recommended” is the standard setting for site visitors.
But why?
Instead of being the cheapest, we prefer retailers to focus on providing the best experience.
Vapospy has been built to give retailers a place to market great deals for the community.
Over time, retailers started playing price-dumping games.
Launching this scoring system is the first step in reducing excessive price-dumping behavior.
From now on, Vapospy strongly focuses on continuously improving the scoring algorithm to provide you with the best buying experience.
